This assignment done in my Drawing II class was aimed to train the hands and eyes towards abstraction. Works of Picasso were studied to gain knowledge towards abstracting forms and breaking down planes. The instructions were to make four-drawing series of a still life, with the first being naturalistic, gradually progressing towards abstraction. This process was done with four different portions of the large still life setup. The final pieces were displayed in a 4 x 4 grid.
