Born in Beijing, China, I spent part of my childhood in Japan before immigrating to Toronto with my family at the age of 7. I now study at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, thus evermore complicating my multi-national identity. I am fluent in Chinese and English, and have spent a significant number of years studying French and Japanese.
Since youth, I have been passionate about drawing and traditional art. In high school, I began delving into digital arts and video, which became a stepping stone for my undergraduate studies in Digital Media Design, a cross-disciplinary major combining computer science, fine arts, and communications.
Driven by my art background and the storyteller within me, my interests greatly lean towards the fields of film, animation, and gaming. I may be just beginning my journey with programming and computer graphics, but I am eager and ready to learn.
